I am a former High School English and Biology teacher. I am a third-year doctoral student in Ed Tech/Ed Psych at Michigan State University. I also work with the Red Cedar Writing Project and the National Writing Project. I write for Inside Higher Ed on the Gradhacker blog.
My current research interests focus on the impact of technological tools on student learning and writing achievement. My methodological interests include social network analysis and multi-level models.
